Active frontwoman Brianna Wanlass provides broad-range vocals plus electric guitar, furthermore to writing all of the lyrics; Wanlass, along with Dave Hermocillo (bass) and Amadeo Donofrio (percussion), writes the music. Furthermore, all exhibit their creative edges in painting, sketching, sculpturing, and picture taking. This creative mix of talents leads to a combined outpouring of rap, electro-funk, blues, jazz, and indie rock and roll that’s irreverent and morose, however boldly melodic and distinct. However the well-received album concentrates even more on Wanlass’s tone of voice and singing abilities, and much less on the entire sound from the music group, in November 2001, Misha Guiffre (previously of Manic Idea) became a member of on, adding one more coating of freshness and originality.
