Mostly influenced simply by popular Puerto Rican singer and actress Iris Chacón, Ashley (also called La Chica Bomba [The Bomb Girl]) began her successful career while leading a tropical music band called Las Chicas del Clan. Her debut like a single artist arrived in 1997 using the launch of Yo Soy La Bomba, offering the hit solitary “La Chica Bomba.” Yo Soy La Reina adopted that same 12 months. A live show alongside Elvis Crespo and 1999’s Abrázame became her worldwide breakthrough, supported by way of a Latin American and U.S. tour.
