Aquilo del Nisso

Produced in 1989 by students from the Communication and Arts classes of the Condition School of São Paulo (ECA/USP), Aquilo Del Nisso was conceived as an instrumental group with no restricting brands. Playing Astor Piazzola and Guerra Peixe, MPB and jazz, the group experimented many musical facets without choosing any. In 1989, these were selected to take part in the Totally free Jazz Festival. The nice reception because of their work inspired the group release a their first record in 1990, Aquilo Del Nisso. In 1994, their third discharge, Chico Buarque Instrumental, yielded a nomination for the 1995 Clear prize in the very best Instrumental Group category. In 1998, they might have another Clear award nomination in the same category, this time around because of their 1997 discharge Festa Brasileira. With their single shows, Aquilo Del Nisso in addition has been executing/documenting with Dominguinhos, Hermeto Pascoal, Chico César, Carlos Malta, Carlos Fernando, Virgínia Rosa, Duofel, Suzana Salles, and many more.
