After releasing its first single, called “Ihr Said Thus Leise,” the German duo Aquagen achieved its first gold record and nominations for the ECHO 2000 and VIVA Comet 2000 awards. “Partyalarm” and “Tanz Fur Mich” expected Aquagen’s debut record Abgehfaktor. Nevertheless, the group’s worldwide breakthrough emerged in 2002 after issuing a remixed edition of Chicago’s “Hard to state I AM SORRY,” which became the best new entry within the German DJ play list. Furthermore, DJ/companies Gino Montesano and Olaf Diekmann shipped a ten-track record entitled Weekender.
