Angel

Angel is a pan-European supergroup of types featuring ex-Lake of Tears and Imperia siren Helena Iren Michaelsen, backed by henchmen Jan “Orkki” Yrlund (acoustic guitar and development, ex-Lacrimosa), John Stam (acoustic guitar), Gerry Verstreken (bass), Steve Wolz (drums), and Audun Gronnestad (orchestrations). Carrying out a one-off solitary known as “Don’t Wanna Operate,” Michaelsen made a decision to provide tone of voice to her innermost thoughts and oldest track suggestions (some dating back again to her teenagers) by method of Angel’s first recording, A Woman’s Journal: Section One — a conceptually unified assortment of available hard rock and roll and rock, laced with gothic and symphonic nuances much like Epica and Nightwish.
