Andre Thibault

You’ll assume that musician Andre Thibault comes from an exotic locale using a warm environment, because of his effectiveness at such exotic instruments because the oud (a fretless lute in the Arabic globe) as well as the flamenco acoustic guitar. But Thibault comes from Montreal, Canada. Starting out like a guitarist (and learning such demanding playing designs as traditional, Spanish, and jazz), Thibault created a desire for globe music, which resulted in his study from the oud; furthermore to several other string, blowing wind, and percussion tools. Thibault has produced a name for himself by carrying out both in North and SOUTH USA with such esteemed guitarists as David Lindley, Tommy Emmanuel, Adrian Legg,Oscar Lopez, Strunz & Farah, Martin Carthy, Ellen MacElwaine, and drummer Trichy Sankaran. Thibault offers released recordings as both a single designer (1996’s Cookin’ at Constanza’s and 1999’s Samar) along with others (including ASZA’s self-titled debut so when area of the designer compilation Village Stories, amongst others). The past due ’90s noticed Thibault also type a Latin-flamenco duo with percussionist Joseph “Pepe” Danza, known as Corazon Latino; a Euro-Arabic ensemble known as Cordes en Folie alongside vielle participant Pierre Imbert; and also a duo with Egyptian percussionist, Adel Awad.
