American Young

American Young may be the nation singer/songwriter duo of Kristy Osmunson and Jon Rock, both of whom had some success as Nashville songwriters before joining forces in 2013. Osmunson, a fiddle participant, had been an associate of the group Bomshel and experienced her songs documented by Jory + Rory, amongst others, while Rock was an in-demand maker who wrote songs documented by Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, as well as others. In the beginning the pair had been looking to create some songs collectively, but their chemistry if they sang managed to get obvious that they had to provide the carrying out end a go. Their debut self-titled EP made an appearance in 2014 from Curb Information, led from the singles “Like Is Battle” and “Wasn’t Gonna Drink Tonight.”
