If the first name is spelled with one “L” or two, there is no question that we now have an “L” of a whole lot of music artists named Allan Davis. That one — never to end up being confused using the ’50s R&B songwriter of “Easy Rockin'” popularity — is among the youthful California indie rock and roll drummers pounding their method through a compilation for the Shut Eyesight label entitled Buzzlighter: Clear Cuts.
