Delivered in 1953 in Calcutta, Ajoy Chakrabarty is among the finest classical vocalists of today. His design of performing comes after the teachings of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, the doyen from the Patiala gharana. From 1969 he discovered with Bade Ghulam Ali Khan’s child, Munawar Ali Khan and he applies these lessons good. Ajoy Chakrabarty also offers recorded local and devotional track forms.
