Freedom Hawk

Although Independence Hawk were founded in 2003 when vocalist and guitarist T.R. Morton, bassist Tag Cave, and drummer Lenny Hines 1st began jamming collectively in the Virginia Seaside, Virginia region, the group’s audio serves as a period capsule towards the 1970s’ hard rock and roll visual, in no uncertain conditions. As soon as guitarist Matt Cave (sibling of Tag) became a member of the fold the next year, the music group got right down to the severe business of rehearsing and carrying out, duly leading to the impartial 2008 launch of its debut recording, Sunlight, followed just one single year later on by an eponymous mini-LP through Meteor Town. Both releases loved positive press and helped develop the band’s group of fans, bringing Independence Hawk towards the interest of leading stoner rock and roll label Small Rock, which revealed their third work, SECURING, in the summertime of 2011.
