Peter and the Wolf

Peter as well as the Wolf’s eclectic, experimental mixture of Americana and folk music is shaped by frontman Crimson Hunter (true name: Brian Redding Hunter). Known for keeping concerts in such non-traditional areas as cemeteries, sailboats, and remote control islands only available by canoe, Hunter self-released a CD-R of primary materials before an L.A.-structured indie label, The Worker’s Institute, agreed upon his band in 2006. Peter as well as the Wolf eventually left their head office of Austin, TX, and had taken to the street, where Hunter documented an album’s worthy of of materials in the bed rooms, living spaces, and resorts that housed his group between gigs. The causing album, Lightness, made an appearance in fall 2006, as well as the Ivori Hands was issued twelve months later.
