As a young child, Robinson and his family members relocated many times between Louisiana and Mississippi, as he started learning piano at age ten via his old sister. A couple of years later on Robinsonpurchased his first acoustic guitar and four-track recorder, instantly taping his personal initial compositions and playing regional clubs (despite becoming underage). By his early twenties Robinson experienced relocated to Nashville wishing to learn something or two about the music biz. He required employment as an intern in the Beacham Company, reserving gigs for such performers as Tim McGraw and Joe Diffie, and finally forming a music group himself, Fearless Freap (issuing a complete of three albums throughout their brief profession). Robinson lay out immediately to create another group, that was when he fulfilled the members who go on to be Whirlybird. 2001 noticed the discharge of Whirlybird’s debut recording, Black Vision, which Robinson explains as “witty anti-pop with Southern slip soul, a considering man’s rock and roll with much underground ethic.”
