Monte Dunn & Karen Cruz

Monte Dunn was a noted folk and folk-rock program guitarist in the 1960s, performing on information by Ian & Sylvia, Fred Neil, David Blue, and Buffy Sainte-Marie. In the past due 1960s he teamed up with vocalist Karen Cruz as well as the duo produced a uncommon, self-titled folk-rockish record for the Cyclone label. It’s a nice if common record with some tinges of nation music and fey baroque orchestration, using the pair’s voices mixing well in earthy and imaginative harmonies.
