Frankel

Frankel may be the music brainchild of Michael Orendy, an L.A. indigenous who called the task after an large retainer he used in 5th quality. Having logged many years as the bassist for multiple SoCal rings, Orendy released the Frankel task in 2006, sketching upon his pop sensibilities and multi-instrumentalist abilities to record the materials himself. Chatterbox, his debut EP, made an appearance in 2006, implemented one year afterwards with the full-length Lullaby for the Passerby. Although anchored by piano and classical guitar, Lullaby for the Passerby also produced area for oddball flourishes, including gadget equipment and Theremins. Piano continued to be on the forefront of 2009’s Anonymity May be the New Popularity, whose split orchestral pop betrayed a like for Harry Nilsson and Randy Newman.
