Attilio Mineo

Space-age pop composer and arranger Attilio Mineo was created in Brooklyn, NY about August 28, 1918; after graduating senior high school he performed piano in some big bands, consequently leading his personal orchestra on / off for near three decades. Frequently writing tunes with wife Toni, Mineo frequently accepted commissioned tasks to invest in his even more personal function, and in 1962 he decided to record musical accompaniment for any Seattle World’s Good appeal dubbed the Bubbelator, a clear and spherical elevator casing up to 150 travellers. Sold alongside the Bubbelator, Mineo’s producing LP, Guy in Space with Seems, combined digital melodies, alien sound files and spoken-word introductions, quickly offering out its limited pressing and learning to be a sought-after enthusiasts item among exotica aficionados ahead of its 1998 reissue on Subliminal Seems.
