Floating State

Begun in Italy in 1985, Floating Condition was started by Gigi “Lugifer” Ferri, Mimmo “Subterranean” Ferri, and Fabrizio “Bonzo” Binetti. The trio recruited Michele “Anarchia” Moschini as their vocalist. They originally resolved on Gianfranco Aresta as bassist, but ultimately changed him with Carlo Cavaniglia. Cavaniglia remained with the group until 1996 when he was changed by Claudio Signorile. Floating Condition broke up for a while in 1998, but had been back again at it the next year. This time around they had a fresh drummer in the personage of Beatrice “Bruford” Birardi. The sound of the group was improved with the addition of a saxophonist (Grazia Stella). By another year, that they had resolved on another bassist, Francesco “FunkyBlues” Antonino.
