Bourgeois studied in Magdalene University, Cambridge with the RCM. He obtained recognition using the efficiency of his =Symphonic Variants= (1966). He got a posture as lecturer in music at Bristol College or university in 1971. Affected by Walton and Britten, Bourgeois’ most widely known functions are those for universities and amateur organizations.
