Peking Turtle

Led by chanteuse Typhanie Monique Coller, Peking Turtle became known round the Chicago jazz scene for his or her legendary lengthy jazz sessions and interesting performances. In 1998, the music group released Crossing which included significant amounts of jazz and boogie music. Called after turtle-themed door awards Coller would give away, the band offers appeared within the Jenny Jones chat show aswell as many musical showcases. Many members been employed by with blues legends Friend Man, Bo Diddley, and Otis Hurry. The music group released their second recording, Airtite, in November of 2000.
