Charles Malonga

Malonga initial played in his college band at age group nine. He became a member of Renove Jazz in 1958 and became vocalist and guitarist for the greater traditional music group Madi Badio. He transferred from Gabon to Burkina Faso in 1977, using several local rings, the most effective which was Les Quatres Dark Brothers. He released his initial solo record in 1990.
