Lions

A hard rock-band from Austin, TX, Lions were given birth to when vocalist/guitarist Matt Drenik and drummer Jake Perlman’s previous music group, the Good Appears, fell aside mid-tour in the summertime of 2005. After starting up with second guitarist/back-up vocalist Austin Calman and bassist Trevor Sutcliffe, Lions obtained quick notoriety for his or her chaotic, high-energy concert events and fuzzed-out, groove-oriented songwriting, after that recorded their 1st EP, Quantity One, to coincide with shows at their hometown’s SXSW event in March 2006.
