North California-based ambient folkie Karry Walker initial surfaced in 1996 using the self-released Informaldehyde, but she really began attracting interest two years later on being a finalist on the annual Sisters Folk Celebration Songwriting competition. She also gained some honors on the initial Sierra Songwriters competition, acquiring top award in three types including “Most Unique Songwriter, ” without doubt a nod to her deft mixture of classical guitar and subtle digital shadings; putting your signature on to Ubiquity, Walker released Lipsbury Pinfold in 1999.
