Ben Sowton

Ben Sowton manages the Seamless Recordings label and its own popular Bargrooves group of combine CDs, among a great many other nightlife ventures. The Clapham, London, DJ-businessman foresaw the eventual change from night clubs to pubs as clubbers undoubtedly aged and searched for a more seductive, relaxed setting up. His wager paid in spades when he opened up a favorite DJ club (The White Home) and inaugurated an effective label (Seamless Recordings) by which he released a trendy group of double-disc deep home mixes (Bargrooves). For every Bargrooves discharge, Sowton would combine the first disk and request along an option worldwide DJ who also spins deep home to mix the next. The releases had been themed and packed well, creating a favorite brand that quickly spread internationally, crossing the Atlantic Sea in 2003 when Moonshine Music started distributing the series stateside.
