Named after a little Italian town where they once vacationed, Auletta certainly are a German quintet influenced from the ramshackle indie rock and roll from the Libertines. Shaped in Mainz in 2005, frontman Alexander Zwick, guitarist Martin Kloos, and brothers Johannes (bass) and Daniel Juschzak (drums) 1st garnered attention 2 yrs later if they performed in the Emergenza Western Festival and earned the Rockbuster Competition. After starting for famous brands Artwork Brut and Kilians, they authorized to EMI, released 2009 debut recording Pöbelei & Poesie, and completed 14th while representing Rheinland-Pfalz in the 2010 Bundesvision Music Contest using the music “Sommerdiebe.” Carrying out a support slot machine using the Kooks on the Western tour as well as the recruitment of keyboardist Chris Stiller, their 2011 sophomore recording, Make Love Function, offered them their 1st Top 40 admittance.
