David Karsten Daniels

Seattle-based songwriter David Karsten Daniels spent his formative years honing his skills within a high-school jazz band and choir, eventually attending university, where he added composition, theory, free of charge improvisation, and performance art to his repertoire. He spent many years within a nomadic condition, traveling the planet and filtering his encounters through his four-track recorder, a lot of which made an appearance on his 1st two albums, Mayflower (2000) and Out from Under Ligne 4 (2001). After university, Daniels relocated to NEW YORK and created the Bu_Hanan Collective with Daniel Hart and Alex Lazara. He released another experimental single album, Perspectives, in 2004, accompanied by the thick and greatly orchestrated Sharp Tooth in 2007, his 1st launch for England’s NOUVEAU RICHE BUSINESSMAN Records. Concern with Flying found its way to April 2008.
