Xis

Acquiring his stage name from Malcolm X, Brazilian rapper Xis began his job in 1992 having a joint for the rap compilation Consciência Black color. Leading the group DMN, which participated for eight years in the main hip-hop celebrations in the united states, in 1994 he released Cada Vez Mais Preto. The group was nominated for the Video Music Brasil (in the rap category) using the melody “Aformaoriginalmental.” Following the strike “De Esquina” (with Dentinho), made by DJ Hum for the compilation O Poder da Transformação (1997), in 2000 Xis released his solo profession using the socially worried Seja Como For, having “Us Mano e as Mina” gained the MTV award as the very best Country wide Rap Music Video. In past due 2001, already employed by a significant label (WEA Music), Xis released Fortificando a Desobediência.
