Indie pop group Sing-Sing shaped after previous Lush guitarist/vocalist Emma Anderson met vocalist Lisa O’Neill in middle-1997. Approximately eight months later on, the duo documented a four-song demonstration with Elastica’s Justin Welch playing drums. 8 weeks from then on, another demonstration was recorded by using producer Mark Vehicle Hoen, who O’Neill experienced caused previously in Locust. Ex-Cocteau Twins Simon Raymonde and Robin Guthrie noticed it and finally released the FEELS AS THOUGH Summer single on the label, Bella Union, in Oct of 1998. For this period, the duo began playing out; they added drummer Mig (Moose, Moonshake), bassist Shifty, and keyboardist Poppy Gonzalez (Mojave 3). A break up solitary with Linoleum was released on Brutal Panda in early 1999 and wasn’t adopted with anything until well in to the pursuing 12 months.
