Jippu

Jippu is a Finnish pop vocalist/songwriter who made her record debut in 2006 and who topped the albums graph in her homeland with her second record, Kuka Teki Minusta Tän Naisen, in 2008. Delivered Meri-Tuuli Elorinne on Sept 10, 1985, in Helsinki, Finland, she experienced some preliminary success using the 2005 one “Kii” before launching her debut record, Salaisuuksia, Joita Yksinäiset Huutaa Unissaan (2006), a season down the road Warner Music Finland/Helsinki Music Business. Featuring “Kii” and a number of various other singles, especially “Enkelten Kaupunki,” the record charted in Finland for 21 weeks and gradually rose to amount 11. Jippu’s follow-up record, Kuka Teki Minusta Tän Naisen (2008), was a more immediate achievement, debuting at number 1 for the Finnish albums graph; moreover, the name track was a favorite one.
