Max Carl

Formerly referred to as Max Gronenthal, he first found prominence as an associate of Energy and Jack Mack AS WELL AS THE Heart Attack through the early 70s, which also featured future Deep Purple guitarist Tommy Bolin. In 1979 Carl embarked on a single profession and released two melodic AOR albums, very similar in style towards the music of Toto, Kansas and early Michael Bolton. The Group, his third single record, released in 1985, evidenced name transformation however, not the musical path. After being fell by MCA Information, he changed Don Barnes in .38 Special.
