Robert Deeble’s spirit-infused lyrics are paired with a delicate, minimalist design that echoes aged folk heroes like Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake. His 1st album, released along with his music group, Times Like These, was a crucial success and presented a duet with Victoria Williams, “Rock and roll A Bye.” Times Like These by no means performed beyond the L.A. region and disbanded immediately after their 1st launch. His second recording, a solo work entitled Earthside Down, premiered in 1998 and presented the production function of Anthony Arvizu and Stephen Hodges (most widely known for his drum use Tom Waits).
