Formed within the California Bay Region by ex-Stellamara multi-instrumentalist Jeffrey Stott, acid jazz musician Michael Emenau, and Kazakhstan-born singer Irina Mikhailova, Lumin surfaced in the past due ’90s using a fusion of ethnic rhythms from Middle Eastern, medieval Western european, classical, and contemporary ambient music. Their religious and intimate design debuted in 1998 using the discharge of Datura. Hadra implemented in 2002.
