Harlem’s confrontational 2 Dark 2 Strong was included with the support of MMG, a collective that included users Mean Gene, Johnny Marrs, Warchild, C Dogg, and CHOCOLATES. Doin’ DIFFICULT EXPERIENCE on THE WORLD, 2 Dark 2 Strong’s 1991 recording, was prefaced the prior year using the Burn off Baby Burn off EP. The cover from the EP depicted a burning up U.S. flag and tipped off the topic matter from the name monitor. When Relativity’s In-Effect offshoot attemptedto press promotional copies, its tape producer refused to comply. Ultimately, it had been pressed up through another resource. 2 Dark 2 Strong’s continuing testing of independence of conversation was fulfilled with resistance, specifically since “Burn off Baby Burn off” included the collection, “F*ck the reddish, white and blue.” His solid recording also tackled problems like the battle on drugs, law enforcement brutality, and additional inner-city plights.
