Zenzile

French dub music group Zenzile was created in 1996, hailing from Angers, in traditional western France. They consider their music group name from a popular South African poet and anti-apartheid activist. Although dub genre is normally exclusively instrumental, the music artists of Zenzile are recognized for their leftist politics stance and frequently give voice with their suggestions lyrically through regular visitor performers Janika and Jean Gomis. Their documenting career started in 1998 making use of their debut recording, Dub Promozione. Their debut around the Crash record label arrived a year later on with Sachem in Salem, accompanied by Zenzile Matches Jamika, also released in 1999.
