Xinlisupreme

With blizzards of guitar noise, urgent beats, and looped electronic devices, Oita, Japan’s Xinlisupreme (pronounced zinly supreme) recast My Bloody Valentine, Suicide, and Aphex Twin within a strange genre-assaulting sound that’s sometimes gentle, sometimes violent, but always unique. The music group, comprised of Yasumi Okano and Takayuki Shouji, who trade off on numerous instruments, was found out via a demonstration they delivered to FatCat Information, house of such initial and revolutionary functions as Sigur Rós, Múm, and Mice Parade. Impressed from the guitar-based music, the label released an individual, titled ALL YOU HAVE TO Is Love HAD NOT BEEN Accurate, in January of 2002. The duo’s debut full-length, Tomorrow By no means Comes, adopted in March of 2002 on FatCat’s Splinter series.
