The husband-wife duo of Terry Woods and Gay Woods is well known mostly because of their brief stint within the first lineup of Steeleye Period, which lasted first album and some months prior to the couple left. While Steeleye Period — with Ashley Hutchings, Maddy Prior, Tim Hart, and fresh recruit Martin Carthy — continued to become founded as you of Britain’s best folk-rock rings and proceed through many more lineup adjustments, the Woods sank into comparative obscurity. They do, however, soon discovered a folk-rock music group of their very own, the Woods Music group, with guitarist Ed Deane and drummer Pat Nash.
