Wizard

Germany’s Wizard is a loyal disciple from the Manowar college of epic power metallic, fusing classic metallic and galloping riffs with war-obsessed dream lyrics. Shaped in the first ’90s by drummer Snoppi, the music group eventually featured vocalist Sven D’Anna, guitarist Michael Maass, and bassist Volker Leson and released their first recording, Kid of Darkness, in 1995. 1997’s Fight of Steel and 1999’s Bound by Steel followed and even though they were marketed mostly via email purchase, garnered the group a little but rabid group of fans. They were compelled to have a extended break from touring and documenting when Maass was identified as having a serious center condition in Dec 1999, but ultimately returned to complete power with 2001’s Mind from the Deceiver.
