White Fang

The associates of Portland, Oregon’s Light Fang, a punk-noise quartet using a wild, thrashy sound and a prodigious D.We.Y. output, produced the group in 2005 while these were still in senior high school. Bandmates Erik Gage, Kyle Handley, Jimmy Leslie, and Chris Uehlein released their debut LP, Pure Bad, in 2008 on Portland indie Relationship Information. The label would continue release a the band’s following two albums, 2009’s Whatever and 2011’s Greatful to Shred, before Gage and Uehlein began their personal label, Gnar Tapes & Shit. Many 7″ and EP produces on other little indies packed in the mortar between albums as the music group maintained an intense touring schedule. Dynamic linchpins of Portland’s underground picture, all the users of White colored Fang have already been involved in several other indie tasks including the Remembrances, Growth!, Feather Headdress, and the wintertime Coats, amongst others. Since 2011, White colored Fang have were able to release a fresh album each year, with most of them on Gnar Tapes. Following the launch of 2014’s REGULAR Freaks, White colored Fang relocated to LA, building on the romantic relationship with like-minded D.We.Con. weirdos Burger Information, which released the band’s 2015 recording, Chunks.
