Wendy Toye

b. 1 Might 1917, London, Britain. Appearing around the stage from age four, at nine she offered her personal ballet, ‘The Japanese Story FROM THE Rainbow’, in the London Palladium. She danced inside a 1929 Aged Vic production of the Midsummer Night time’s Desire and through the 30s also danced in various London displays. She was also with the ballet troupes of Vic-Wells, Markova-Dolin and Serge Diaghilev. In the Western Result in 1964 Toye aimed Robert And Elizabeth and in 1973 Display Vessel, starring Cleo Laine and Lorna Dallas. Toye also aimed productions of Bluebeard’s Castle and Die Fledermaus, The Property Of Smiles, The Italian Lady In Algiers and Moll Flanders. Toye also produced the film brief, The Stranger Remaining No Cards (1952), that was voted Greatest Short Film on the Cannes Film Celebration. Also in the first 50s, for Alexander Korda, she produced among the three shows that constructed Three Situations Of Murder (1955), aswell as directing The Teckman Secret (1954) and Bringing up A Riot (1955). In the past due 50s and early 60s, and today for J.
