Walter Meego

Chicago-based indie digital duo Walter Meego began when Colin Yarck and Justin Sconza met in the College or university of Illinois in 1999. After a years as a child spent studying traditional and ragtime piano (he graduated to rock and roll and jazz as a teenager), Sconza performed in several bands during university, dabbling in several styles. Yarck, who was simply affected by Chicago’s digital music picture, became a beatmaker and DJ in 2002 while collaborating along with his friend, fellow enthusiast Pat Pelligrini. When Yarck brought a few of his musical tools to college in 2003, he and Sconza started playing collectively for fun. After graduation the same yr, the two proceeded to go their separate methods, but continued to generate music individually, with Sconza producing tapes and Yarck and Pelligrini carrying on their collaboration. Sconza eventually joined up with them, and in 2004 the trio started performing simply because Walter Meego. Their initial discharge, Walter Meego EP, premiered in 2005 and gained praise from Tough Trade and Internet bloggers. To be able to focus on his full-time work, Pelligrini still left the group and was changed by Jarrett Spiegel. Spiegel parted methods with Walter Meego in 2006; he was changed during concert events by Andrew Bernhardt. In 2008, Walter Meego released their debut record, Voyager.
