Tontxu

Vocalist/songwriter Tontxu (given birth to J. Antonio Ipiña) got involved with music after composing his initial song at age 11, later learning to be a radio place programmer and announcer. After shifting to Madrid, Tontxu began touring the neighborhood club circuit, getting the possibility to make his 1st record in 1997. Se Vende was made by Javier Monforte and Gonzalo Benavides. Corazón de Mudanza adopted in 1998. Influenced by Cuban nueva trova and prominent Spanish songwriters, Tontxu came back in 2000 with Con Un Canto En Los Dientes, documenting Tontxu Básico in 2001.
