The Village Green

The music of Portland, OR-based the Town Green harks back again to the time from the Uk Invasion, with influences just like the Beatles, the Kinks (from whose song and album The Town Green Preservation Society they got their name), and Brit-pop acts like Oasis and Supergrass heard clearly within their work. With J. Nicholas Allard on vocals, Nathan Anderson on keyboards and acoustic guitar, Dave Depper on bass, and Jeremy Sherrer on drums, the Town Green released their self-titled EP in 2005. Another year the music group documented their debut full-length, Sense the Fall, in Sherrer’s cellar (he also created the recording), and even though both Depper and Anderson remaining to pursue additional ventures, both release as well as the associated tour continued as prepared, though an upgraded band was discovered for the concert events.
