The Steve Adamyk Music group play fast, forceful, old-school punk rock tunes influenced by ’70s U.K. punk and ’80s power pop, having a gritty consistency in the way of 21st hundred years works like Jay Reatard, the Exploding Hearts, as well as the Marked Males. After playing in the Sedatives as well as the Mil Buck Marxists, guitarist and vocalist Steve Adamyk grew discouraged working with organizations that split up before they could fulfill their potential, and shaped the Steve Adamyk Music group, both as a car for his personal songwriting so that as a music group that could maintain his eyesight and character despite periodic lineup adjustments. Teaming up with fellow previous members from the Sedatives, the Steve Adamyk Music group cut a set of 7″ singles for Western european brands before they performed their first live present this year 2010, and two even more singles and a self-titled record for Waterslide Information appeared prior to the end of the entire year. In 2011, Adamyk and his music group toured thoroughly in THE UNITED STATES and Europe, performed the South by Southwest Music Meeting, and agreed upon with indie punk label Dirtnap Information, who released the group’s second full-length, Forever Won’t Wait around, close to the end of the entire year. Working with manufacturer Paul Granger and musician and studio room hands David Williams, Adamyk and his music group completed album number 3, simply known as Third, with time for a Feb 2013 release, accompanied by substantially more touring. Adamyk upped the garage area rock part of his musical method for the band’s 4th full-length work, Dial Tone, that was documented in California with maker Matthew Melton and released in middle-2014; after several personnel adjustments, the group got settled right into a constant lineup of Adamyk on acoustic guitar and vocals, Davey Quesnelle on acoustic guitar, Sebastien Godin on bass, and Dave Forcier on drums. By enough time of their following album, Quesnelle have been changed on acoustic guitar by Utmost Desharnais who, like Godin, have been in fellow Dirtnap music group Sonic Avenues. The brand new lineup strike the studio room in Montreal with engineer Adrian Popivici, welcomed a few guests on support vocals (Colleen Green and Mike Kral), and produced their most produced-sounding recording to day. Graceland premiered by Dirtnap in August of 2016.
