The Riverdales

The Riverdales were formed by Ben Foster (aka Ben Weasel), Dan Schafer, and Dan Sullivan — all from your classic punk music group Screeching Weasel — in 1995. Spending tribute towards the genius from the Ramones, the Riverdales kick out some catchy, straight-up punk rock and roll & roll on the singles Back and Fun Tonight. The band’s self-titled debut, made by Mass Giorgini and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, premiered on Lookout! in June of 1995. Surprise the Streets adopted on Honest Don’s in 1997.
