The Poems

Inspired by literature just as much as the preferred in Scottish pop, Glasgow’s the Poems feature former members of classic Scottish rings. Robert Hodgens (the Bluebells), Adrian Barry (the Great Fidelity), and Bobby Paterson (Like and Cash) were joined up with by vocalists Kerry Polwart and Amy Ogletree. The quintet agreed upon on with Minty Clean within the U.S. and released Youthful America in Sept 2006. The record contains contributions from associates of Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub, Del Amitri, as well as the Proclaimers.
