The Invisible

The Invisible produce a thick but satisfying musical stew using their cerebral mixture of art rock, post-punk, funk, dance-pop, and Afro-beat. The London trio started when vocalist/guitarist Dave Okumu tapped bassist Tom Herbert and drummer Leo Taylor for any 2006 solo task. The trio quickly gelled; recognizing themselves like a device, they required the name the Unseen and were purchased by Accidental Information operate by Matthew Herbert, who also required the creation reins around the group’s debut recording. Released in the U.K. in ’09 2009, the hard-to-peg record received nearly universally stellar evaluations from the English press, and gained the act a posture on that year’s Mercury Reward brief list.
