The Dares

Shaped in 1998 by eight-year-old twin brothers Ben and Matt Peterson, the punk-pop trio the Dares became a teenager sensation in ’09 2009 because of an Internet-based groundswell of buff support and also a small online game playing. After adding Martin Lascano as their third member, the Dares performed many gigs and showcases around their hometown of Burlington, VT, learning to be a local sensation along the way. Even if indeed they weren’t outdated enough to acquire driver’s licenses, the Dares still understood the West Coastline would be where to allow them to make it, therefore in 2003 they loaded up and going to Whittier, CA. A season later they started gigging again, from Long Beach and finally hitting all of the Hollywood scorching spots, up to the Whisky as well as the Viper Area. In ’09 2009 their tune “It’s Your Globe” received wide publicity when it became the theme tune free of charge Realms, popular online role-playing video game from Sony.
