The Butterscotch Cathedral

The Butterscotch Cathedral can be an experimental psych-pop project from Tucson-based musician Matt Rendon. A longtime purveyor of ’60s-inspired, psych-inspired rock and roll, Rendon provides led numerous rings because the early ’90s, especially the Resonars, a mainly solo recording task that is his principal musical automobile for over 2 decades. Citing epic idea albums from performers like the Seaside Boys as well as the Who as affects, Rendon released the Butterscotch Cathedral in 2015, launching a self-titled debut LP on Difficulty in Mind Information. With just three music, two which are side-long monitors of 17 a few minutes or even more, it’s the sort of high-concept rock and roll album that is clearly a rarity in the digital age group. Rendon caused his close friends Chris Ayers and Jim Waters to place the record jointly. Ayers wrote almost all the lyrics and Waters added sound files and production assistance.
