The British Modbeats

Founded in the mid-’60s by vocalist Fraser Loveman, guitarists Greig Foster and Mike Gorgichuk, bassist Joe Colonna and drummer Robbie Jeffrey, the Ontario-based British Modbeats performed addresses of British Invasion teams like the Moving Rocks and Spencer Davis Group and posed as true Englishmen. Crimson Leaf Records authorized them and released their 1967 recording, Mod May be the Uk Modbeats. The music group was eliminated by 1968.
