Tannis Slimmon

Tannis Slimmon ‘s been around the Canadian music picture for over twenty years. In 1980, she began singing expertly in small colleges, churches, aswell as city halls in the tiny farming communities from the Prairies. In 1984, she became a member of the Byrd Sisters, which toured thoroughly throughout THE UNITED STATES from 1984 to 1995, liberating three albums along the way. It wasn’t until 2001 that she made a decision to launch her debut recording. For the recording entitled Oak Lake, called after her hometown, Slimmon experienced help from users from the Skydiggers, Ruler Cobb Steelie, and Supper Is usually Ruined. The vocalist has also performed in a origins pop trio Benji, aswell as with the acoustic folk duo known as Crows Feet.
