Symarip evolved from the united kingdom ska music group the Pyramids, who have had recorded using the then head from the Equals, Eddy Offer. The group shaped in 1969, composed of Monty Naismith, Ray Ellis, Michael Thomas, Joshua Roberts and Frank Pitter. For the monitor ‘Skinhead Jamboree’, they needed less turmoil and documented the fundamental gear to get a ‘bovver youngster’. The achievement of ‘Skinhead Moonstomp’ resulted in the discharge in 1970 of the record of the same name, including variations of Roland Alphonso’s ‘Phoenix Town’ as ‘Phoenix Reggae’, Nancy Sinatra’s ‘These Boot styles ARE CREATED For Strolling’, ‘Fung Shu’ and ‘Skinhead Young lady’. The one was re-pressed in response towards the curiosity engendered within the skinhead period through the 2-Tone craze.
