Manchester-based DJ/producer Darren Williams, aka Star Slinger, released his debut this year 2010, a soul-flavored dance album entitled Volume 1, after that adopted it up with two EPs in 2011, Rogue Cho Pa, and Groups vs. Celebrity Slinger. He also centered on remix function, offering remixes for the Avalanches, Toro y Moi, Buraka Som Sistema, Childish Gambino, BEATEN UP, and Platinum Panda. Initially of 2012, Celebrity Slinger was presented as you of Spin’s Best New Performers, and he released another EP, String Dumbin’.
